So at first I didn't really want to have any kind of celebration for my birthday, seeing as I'm closer to 30 than 20 and too old to be celebrating anything really... but I figured this may be the only time I'm able to celebrate in Mayapur, and with all my new friends here.
So last night we all gathered on the roof of our apartment building and cosied up around a small bonfire. We sung lots, ate cake, chatted, drank hot chai, danced in the candlelight, took photos and basically had an amazing evening. Thanks my Mayapur friends!
